My Love Is Spiritual
This is a poem I wrote for her after an argument. I didn’t now exactly how to express what I wanted to say. I’m usually really good in expressing it through my art forms, though. I’m guessing she figured I was sitting on the phone mute, but I was actually working on putting my emotions into something more concise than my mumble-jumble-rambling.
My Love Is Spiritual
By: (Fifteen Days Author)
Love me until you can’t no more,
and when you can’t no more - use my heart and love me with it.
Because these lyrics give life, so please witness.
And when you need air, here’s my lung, breathe with it.
These feelings are God given and natural.
So when I say that I love you, please take it actual,
Love that God gave me to bestow on you.
So my love is spiritual, man made feelings just won’t do.
And for all those nights I prayed that God would send me a woman with a smile like yours that would change my life
You came along, and from that moment I knew everything would be alright.
I would no longer have to fight for the affection of a woman
who didn’t give a damn if I loved or I didn’t
I have now seen the future through an angelic vision.
You and I, four children. I’m alive and I feel it.
It’s so damn different to feel love without pain.
Celebrations of relations with our favorite champagne.
Once more and again, I will tell you that I love you
With a much grander feeling that is the opposite of subtle.
If anyone tells you different, I’ll be glad to rebuttal.
With the argument that my love is an ocean to a puddle.
And if they don’t understand scale, let me paint a bigger picture.
My love is the universe compared to a village.
The exact opposite of what you’d expect someone to think after an argument, right?
